        VRSS-1 Satellite

        The China-Brazil Earth Resources Satellites

On May 26, 2011, CGWIC and Ministry of People's Power of Science and Technology and Intermediate Industries of Venezuela (MPPCTII) signed a Contract for VRSS-1 Satellite Program. The VRSS-1 satellite is manufactured on the basis of CAST 2000 satellite platform, it was successfully launched by LM-2D launch vehicle on September 29, 2012, and was delivered in orbit to Ministry of People's Power of Science and Technology and Intermediate Industries of Venezuela on February 6, 2013. VRSS-1 program is the first in-orbit delivered remote sensing satellite program contracted with the international client.

        VSRR-2 Satellite

        VSRR-2

The VSRR-2 is the 3rd satellite which china delivered for Venezuela, following the delivery of Venezuela's 1st Communications Satellite (Venesat-1) in 2008 and the 1st Venezuelan Remote Sensing Satellite (VSRR-1) in 2012.

China Great Wall Industry Corporation (CGWIC), as the prime contractor of VSRR-2 project, have worked with its subcontractors to complete the works of design, development, testing and in-orbit delivery of the VSRR-2, and to upgrades its ground monitoring, reception, data processing and distribution systems.

The satellite is manufactured on the basis of CAST 2000 satellite platform; it was successfully launched by LM-2D launch vehicle on October 9th 2017 from the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center, and was delivered in orbit to the client on March 2018.

        PRSS-1 Satellite

        PRSS-1 Satellite

The mission was based on the PRSS-1 Satellite System Program Contract signed between China Great Wall Industry Corporation and Pakistan Space and Upper Atmosphere Research Commission (SUPARCO) on April 20, 2016.

The PRSS-1 satellite, based on CAST 2000 platform, was launched successfully by the LM-2C/SMA launch vehicle on July 9th, 2018 and was delivered in orbit to the client on December 2018. This is another significant space program between China and Pakistan after the successful in-orbit delivery of PakSat-1R Satellite, marking a step forward for China-Pakistan aerospace cooperation.
